Convivencia is an intercultural non-profit organization which aim is to bring people with
different ideas and different cultural backgrounds together and to give the space for ideas to
become reality. The organization was founded February 2011 in Hausmania, and had the first
Moroccan festival in May,mthe second in June 2011. Organization is still not officially
registered, but it already has over 25 members, e-mail group, logo, official membership
documents and several Moroccan cultural festivals in account. Convivencia’s structure and
statutes are still in creation progress.
The main tasks for the future are:
To inform and unite more people with different ideas and visions;
To finish creating organization statutes;
To make official registration in Norway;
To create organization’s website;
To organize future events with the financial support of the
government;
The Convivencia annual meeting on February the 5th invites not only existing organization
members and everyone who wants to join this organization but also everyone who wants to have
a good time around interesting and warm people, intercultural atmosphere, food, music and much
more.

Velkommen til snøskulptur og islykt festival
Søndag 29 Januar.
Klokken 14 - 17.
Sted: Blåhallstomta - Brenneri veien 1- på baksiden av Kulturpallasset Hausmania
Inngang fra øverst i Brenneriveien.
Alle er hjertelig velkomne til å delta til å lage figurer, lykter og det man måtte ønske. På forhånd er det laget endel klare isformer.
Ta på varme klær. Ta gjerne med pynt til skulpturer, spade og andre redskaper som passer til graving og hakking. Det er ekstra hyggelig om folk vil kle seg ut, for en fargerik festivalstemning.
Det arrangeres med enkelt utgangspunkt, der det forutsettes at deltakerne bruker området kreativt, det er med andre ord ikke bestillt inn ekstra snø.
Festivalen er endel av landart prosjekt Støy!
Støy! er ett uteromskunstprosjekt som skal undersøke mulighetene for kunst i det offentlige rom. Støy! Skal etableres som en fast plattform for samarbeid i uterom vidt definert der byrom og uterom som skog, jorder og fjell blir likestilte som arenaer for utforsking. Prosjektet kan beskrives som et urbant, landart prosjekt som tar opp i seg den tradisjonelle betydningen av landart og blander dette med urbane utrykksformer som Streetart, grafitti og installasjoner.
Blåhallstomta er endel av Hausmania Kulturhus og prosjektet er endel av forarbeidet med å sette fokus på Hauskvartalet som et byøkologisk kulturkvartal forankret i en spesialtilpasset og unik reguleringsplan.
Arrangør er Anita Hillestad som er billedkunstner med atelier på og Styreleder på Hausmania Kulturhus. I samarbeid med Administrasjonen og andre kunstnere på huset.

"The strategic intervention in the field of vision has been organized primarily around the regulation of the relationship between beings, images and language. I look from one position but I am looked at from everywhere. The ‘social gaze’ looks back at me from the place of the others and inscribes otherness in the midst of self. It is not the look of any particular other, but the visual, photographic action of otherness which places me within a field of vision as I turn towards others and look at them.
The operation of normative systems (religion, morality, increasingly law) interposes a ‘legalscreen’ between the subject and the social gaze, filtering the objects of vision and determining the way in which we see and are given to the world to be seen. The screen is a collection of authoritative images and material practices which offer a repertory of approved representations through which social identity is inscribed. It determines how each of us is given to the world to be seen, as handsome or ugly, pleasant or nasty, polite or boorish." — Costas Douzinas

Ignas Krunglevicius studied composition at the Norwegian music academy in Oslo, where he lives and works. In 2010/11, his works were exhibited at Ursula Blickle Stiftung, YoungProjects at Art Platform LA, National gallery of art, Vilnius, Oslo Kunstforening. Krunglevicius was nominated for the "Nam June Paik Award" and received the contemporary art prize "Sparebankstiftelsen DnB NOR". His works have been performed in various festivals, "Warsaw Autumn" and "Ultima", Oslo, among others.
